None of these players have won a damn thing for this organization. None should be untouchable. If the goal is to win a Stanley cup, any and all options to improve the team should be considered. To me Myers(potentail) for Getzlaf(proven) is a no brainer. There is no way to tell weather or not Myers will become the player everyone wants him to be. You wanna wait 7yrs before he turns into a dominate force? Chara didn't become the player he is today untll he was 30. He wasn't the force he is now when he played in Ottawa.

And before you say Myers is furthur along. Chara was physical and could skate. Myers is weak physically and can skate.


I think Myers is a game changer but I myself would make the Getzlaf for Myers deal in a minute.

I'd much rather have Duchene than Statsny. I'd actually rather have Ryan O'Reilly than Statsny. Not that I wouldn't take Statsny, but i like their other two centers better.

I do think the Sabres should shop a few of their d-men considering Gleason was extended today with the Canes.

Problem is I don't like much off of CGY's roster I'd take a prospect and a pick though. Maybe something around Backlund and a pick.

I have always liked Jason Blake and have no problem trading for him, don't think he will fit in here but I like him. I don't think anyone fits in here anymore.
