I say just sign Grabovski to a long term deal. He puts up better numbers than Nash, and is on the verge of stardom. But hey, I'm just WayneGretzky.

Huselius and Army should be on same line...in the same position...cause between the 2 of them they MIGHT be lucky to complete the season

so, NHL announces 2013 All Star Game will be in Columbus, and Columbus's big lead up move is to trade the Face of the Franchise for salary dumps, pending UFA's, and futures...

makes perfect sense to me.

I'm not sure why everyone thinks that this is proof Columbus won't do a deal.

Columbus fans can just pull a "Montreal" - load up the team with Blue Jackets players.

Maybe it's a consideration to not trade your #1 pick if the draft is in your city.

But the All-Star Game?

If Luke can work on his footspeed/acceleration and do something about his cement hands, I would love to keep the kid. He has size and is not afraid to use it, but unless he become quicker I just won't be a fan of his play.

The bolded point doesn't really say too much. You have a proven commodity vs 2 unproven commodities.

Likewise, if you were detroit and I offer Daigle (1st overall) for Datsyuk (7th rounder), would that really be fair?

I have no issues with the AVS trading Stastny, but that would be a steal for Burke
