I'll put it in simpler terms: it's becasue he's black.
- dt99999

True. Could be that Ladouceur is a damn racist.

Cole signing...yes. I'll give you that.

Giving Price, Pacioretty and the rest of the young guys room and patience? A) Did he have a choice and B) don't all GM's do that with there young talent?

Is Bourque's contract any better than Cammy's?

What value does Gionta have? He was on pace for 40 points this year to go along with his previous two seasons of 46 points. For 5 mill a year?

- yemrots

If media and fans would have been listened to, Price and Pacioretty would have been traded long ago. And ever since I can remember, our GM's buckle under that type of pressure and trade assets. PG has stuck to his evaluations.

Bourque's contract is better than Cammy's. Is this really something that is being debated anywhere else?

Gionta is over-priced but is still a decent player.

Actually, that has a lot to do with it...Seriously. Becasue he's black and draws attention to himself he'll get criticized...A guy like Iginla gets a pass becasue (he's lighter brown and) he conforms to the hockey world's vision of how a black man should act on the ice (which is a different standard than a white man).

Agreed, but I'd keep him up here and cut his ice-time. Sending him to the AHL would be pointless.

Hire a real D coach....Chelios anyone.

If the team thinks the season is lost (and they may not be there yet) then let the kid ride the busses for a couple of weeks. Maybe he needs to realize it's not that easy.

Burke has tried this with Kadri (not sure it's worked), and I'm not saying Kadri is the talent that PK is, but sometimes a kid needs a wakeup call.

cutting his ice-time and powr play time is punishemtn enough. At this point I don't see what's gained by sending him to the AHL after they've established him as a player on their roster. Kadri was never established as an NHL player before going back down. He's pretty much always been a call-up.

Oh for (frank)s sakes. You don't really believe that do you? So you really are calling Ladouceur and Pleks racists? These are the two incidents that come to mind when I think of PK. The teams seems disfunctional this year and everytime I see some sort of incident on the ice at practice or on the bench, it seems PK is in the middle of it.

Also, Chelios played until he was 47 and no one ever said a word about him helping out the young players, mentoring anyone or giving pointers...

Now someone throws out his name as a potential coach? no thanks.

Manning in San Fran would make that team exponentially better. I could only imagine what Manning could do with a legitimate running game to work with.
- 3M

... not to mention all the time he would have on the field with one of the top 2 or 3 defenses in the league.

Kadri wasn't a great example but was the only one that came to mind. Maybe the press box is the way to go...to start.

I loved him, thought the savard trade was awful, even at the time. What makes him a coach?

Press box and much less ice-time. He's not going to learn anything playing 25 minutes a game in the AHL.

Sure just compare the black guy to the brown one and say it was a mistake.
