Meh, it's the nature of this business. They'll probably start something different in a not so distant future.

Not everyone can get paid over $7 Million to not score for a year. Those gigs are few and far between.

I wonder if the guy feels any remorse when the funds get wired in every two weeks.

I'm predicting it.

Damphousse as GM, Casseau as Coach, with Robinson and Denis Savard as assistants.

Habs draft Grigorenko and trade for Radulov's rights in exchange of AK's.

Roy convinces Radulov to come play here.

AlexSerenRosso AlessandroSerenRosso
Radulov's agent: we have an agreement with Salavat according to which Alexander can get back to the #NHL this summer

Damphousse will not be the GM, but Roy is a strong possibility to become coach. The Habs will not have a chance to draft Grigorenko because the will make a strong push to make the playoffs. If they don't and they won't, they lose $15 million. That is what is important to them.

Maybe for 2 or 3 seconds, maybe. I'd bet there's more self pity than remorse, probably about 5 to 10 seconds worth.

I've heard Lacroix is a possibility, which i don't like either. Would it be that hard to come up with an original choice?

Eric Lacroix? Makes sense in Roy is coach.

Habs are the worst. I would love to see a creative choice for GM, someone we haven't heard of but is respected in NHL circles.

Couldn't agrEE more.
However, we unfortunately have a limited selection due to our club rule of hiring francophones 1st.

Kinda like the NFL rule for searching for a coach and they have to interview a black guy.
