It's up to Pegula to send Lindy packing and I fear that it isn't gonna happen for a while. If Leino's deal was for 3 years as opposed to 6 they would be in a better position to deal him or do a buyout.

Black's statements insult my intelligence as a hockey fan. In their worst years (including Orr's last with the Hawks) any of the Legends would still be the best player on the Sabres.

Wouldn't it be refreshing to have a Pro Sports franchise in Buffalo that would allow their people to speak openly and honestly with the media ? As a frustrated fan I would MUCH MUCH more appreciate it if Ted Black went on the air and said something along the lines of "We know this is unacceptable and changes will be made immediately. We were wrong about some players and need to bring in some new blood while removing some problems".

I read a few weeks ago on Spector's that Howson was not gonna move him and that Vermette was the more likely center dealt out of Columbus.

If Homer is right about Adam this makes no sense given the fact that we are already thin up front with Hecht down (and perhaps out for good).
