That first line played "well" together.

we need unreal. We need good. Jokinen and iggy together is a band aid fix. Iggy takes half the face offs because jokinen is weak at them. Bringing carter in gives us 2 decent lines.

Cammaleri - "Playmaking center" - Iggy
Tanguay - Jokinen - Glencross

still would be better. At least with Conroy Iginla had someone focussing on setting things up, not shooting all the time. And you can see cammaleri and iginla trying thing this now, setting up plays. with jokinen it was more of a scramble and shoot.

He's doing great, but send him away now that he has value. As a second line goal scorer we could get something for jokinen.

Call it what you want, but when they played together they were a legitimate first line/threat to score. I mean if you want to find a first line/unreal "playmaking center" there are a handfull in the entire league, all of which would cost way more than it would to acquire Carter and would all probably have a higher cap hit...toss out some suggestions.

Yes exactly, Hemsky over Semin, hemsky is not broken and a shade of what he used to be at all, you should give the Oilers what ever they ask for, if it means you get a guy like Hemsky.

Yes exactly, Hemsky over Semin, hemsky is not broken and a shade of what he used to be at all, you should give the Oilers what ever they ask for, if it means you get a guy like Hemsky.

Ya I hear ya. The term is scary. I think a player of his skill will always have some type of attraction to a team looking to make a deep run, so he wouldn't be entirely untradeable were he to suck in Calgary. But it would just be that the Flames would probably get close to nothing if they were to deal him away to another team. But that is exactly why i wouldnt sell the farm for him.

I think a player of his skill will always have some type of attraction to a team looking to make a deep run, so he wouldn't be entirely untradeable were he to suck in Calgary. But it would just be that the Flames would probably get close to nothing if they were to deal him away to another team. But that is exactly why i wouldnt sell the farm for him.
