I don't see it as much of a discount... for the next 3 years he will make more than his average over the last 4 years, the final year he takes the discount (and he will be 35).
Decent signing though. Bodes well for the 'team atmosphere'.

I definately don't consider him a 1st line centre at this point.
However, keep in mind that Bozak is not a 1st line centre and he is performing admirably in between Kessel and Lupul. So far those two have shown that they can perform above a PPG pace as long as they have a centre that compliments them. Colborne may never be that #1 centre, but I could see his game complimenting Kessel and Lupul very well. Add to the fact that he has size, and some decent hands, and it oculd be a very good fit.
I do not expect the leafs to contend for the cup any time soon, so what is wrong with giving colborne the shot at fulfilling the position. It would be better if he could fill it rather than trading away a ton of pieces for a guy whose game may not work well with them. Its worth a try in my opinion, and I don't feel as if we are in any rush to win now.

I don't think Colborne has the speed to play with Kess and Loops. I would like to see Grabo play with them.

Keith Aulie is currently in a very respectful relationship with Ryan Getzlaf's sister.
Mr. Aulie calls her all the time, and does very thoughtful little things all the time, like sends her little notes telling her how much he loves her, or sending her gift certificates so that she and her friends can go out to fancy restaurants for a nice brunch.
"Banging" is what Mr. Aulie does to tramps who he meets in hotel bars while on road trips.
