nash was just an example, and we have talked a ton about getting centers so i thought id switch it up a bit and talk about keeping the centers for another year and adding a scoring winger. just a thought.

nash was one of the best players last olympics if you ask me.

another scoring winger could be useful. So long as he's mean. the biggest need though would be a mean center.

Mike Richards was the guy Burke targeted last summer, because he's a chippy little bastard who can be a playmaker.

Burke, right now, is probably looking for a guy who can play with Kessel(so LW or C), who can drop the gloves, get into the dirty areas, maybe not produce as much as Lupul, but be able to keep up with Kessel... and is still relatively young.

Now obviously, you don't want to break up Kessel and Lupul... but if you have to, you at least now Lupul's capable of producing without Kessel, and you hope that the physical winger will keep Kessel's play at this higher level as well.

So, guys Burke would probably want:
Getzlaf
M.Richards
T.Ruutu
E.Staal
Lucic
Morrow(If he can come cheap, it'd be worth having a vet)
Ott(has shown he can put up numbers. playing beside an offensive engine like Kessel coule bring them back)
Dustin Brown(if he can play left)
Ryan Smyth(same as Morrow)

etc.

now, obviously these guys wont all be available... but that's what Burke is likely looking for
