Heard the TOOL show in Toronto last night sucked from a friend who went. Said the band played under 2 hours, none of them moved, and they didn't come out for an encore, not to mention they charged 50$ for t-shirts.

He wasn't impressed, apparently.

I wish we had traded for David Backes instead of Lee Stempniak. Random thought of the day (not saying Backes was available, but man do I love his game and his size.)

I'm good with Grabo at 4.5 or under personally. If we can fit him in go for it. That being said, we do need to move out dollars and I'm looking at you... MacArthur, and you... Lombardi... and you... Komisarek.
- Brian Huddle

yeah i hear ya Hudd, its goona be tough, but you know how burke works, if he really wants to keep him, he will make room.

and i know you aint a huge Gbov supporter but i got warm and fuzzy when i saw your msg lol - im honestly thinking grabovski will sign for 4.2 and under - im hoping as well.

problem is we have so many guys like you mentioned, add armstrong to that list too since hes been injured 3/4 of the time hes been a leaf

He's the type of guy this team needs down the middle.

Berglund would be a good fit too.

"Sucked" is a pretty vague description....I'm guessing he's not a "Tool-a-phile"?

There's a GREAT base in Ottawa though. Murray's "draft size" mantra for years has shown up in the team toughness for the bottom six. Now just wait for Noesen, Ziba, etc. and the team starts to look not only skilled but like a team that can grind it out int he playoffs as well.
- Brian Huddle
It takes time ,sometimes making the playoffs too early puts to much expectation,s on a team that isnt really ready to compete .Just ask TB .

I dont want BM to move any younger assets ,to make some pie in the sky run for or in the playoffs. And judging by some of the comments most leaf fans dont want this for their club either

Ottawa just needs to slow up the gas pedal on Anderson. Guy's gonna die of a heart attack soon with how many games he's playing.

I've seen both Tool and Perfect Circle many times, the first time was at snowjob around 96 for tool...and that concert was awesome. But every concert since, its the same, the music sounds great, but there's no life in the performance, simply going through the motions. Maynard is a horrible showman. That said, if you love Tool for the music, I'm sure you'll enjoy it. Just don't expect a crazy kick ass performance.

i find the Foo Fighters for example the complete opposite....music's not as good but somehow good ole dave knows how to make you feel you just saw the best band on earth.

Some bands are like that, and some are like Tool.

I saw Marilyn Manson once (not a huge fan), but holy hell can that guy put on a show. It's a spectacle to watch him.
