see.. this bugs me.. that assumption is based off one or two good seasons

look at carter.. he only cracked 70 once in his career.. stastny.. he's produced more (crasked 70 3x) but is he really the size up front we need?
is he worth trading a boatload of youth to aquire? i dont know.

- Dozzer

Ive now realized that no...Kessel desperately needs some size and grit to keep guys from smacking him around all the time

You ever see a British show called "Skins," my friend told me it was a laugh, watched it and that poop is messed up. Makes me glad I had good parents.

He's got the "speed down the wing and snipe it top cheese" thing (although we haven't seen it much), and we've seen his ability to play make...

Some size to back off defenders and let Phil or Loops be the trailing man on the play would be huge for them on the scoreboard, IMO.

I don't think either is worth Grabo plus. We all know I'm not 'Rah Rah Grabo', but I'll take his work ethic and production over either of the others right now.
- Brian Huddle

yeah, potential doesnt mean squat if they arent realizing it.. grabo makes things happen out of nothing sometimes (when he is on his game)

he sure does, considering mac and kule have been doing hardly anything all season...when crabb was with gbov he would produce too.

coincidence? i think so...

Gbov is worth keeping 100% if we can find the salary dollars to fit him in.

id hate to see one of our toughest, hardest working centers be traded.

bozak i like, connolly has been decent, steckel is good for faceoffs/4th line. but really, as most of you know, i really think Mikhail is worth keeping.

I agree with you, I do not want Statsny at all..not for 6.6 ...and Carter would have to be on the cheap to take a 10 year contract
- senstroll

kinda what i am thinking.. i like stastny's playmaking abilities but he's simply not the size burke needs to have an impact upgrade..

carter.. a shooter.. not the centre for lupul and kessel at all

not for long, you guys have 4gp more than Toronto and were tied with 3 other teams. very good chance you guys get passed by at least 2 of those 4 teams. Wouldnt suprise me at all to see ottawa slip to 9-10 spot within a couple weeks after the all star break, if not a week.

not trying to crush your hopes, just being honest.

My hope is to win a cup and with the sens current roster of players, i dont see that happening.

I'm good with Grabo at 4.5 or under personally. If we can fit him in go for it. That being said, we do need to move out dollars and I'm looking at you... MacArthur, and you... Lombardi... and you... Komisarek.

i never wanted to get rid of grabo ever.. even after his rough injury plagues season two years ago.. i'd rather keep him over connolly in a heartbeat

There's a GREAT base in Ottawa though. Murray's "draft size" mantra for years has shown up in the team toughness for the bottom six. Now just wait for Noesen, Ziba, etc. and the team starts to look not only skilled but like a team that can grind it out int he playoffs as well.
