Still not a contender but not a last place team by any stretch.The east sucks we are even or better than most teams in it .Hense the wins and the playoff spot

not for long, you guys have 4gp more than Toronto and were tied with 3 other teams. very good chance you guys get passed by at least 2 of those 4 teams. Wouldnt suprise me at all to see ottawa slip to 9-10 spot within a couple weeks after the all star break, if not a week.

True, the only thing is the potential is there for Carter/Stastny to produce much more than Grabo, they just arnt at the moment

see.. this bugs me.. that assumption is based off one or two good seasons
look at carter.. he only cracked 70 once in his career.. stastny.. he's produced more (crasked 70 3x) but is he really the size up front we need?
is he worth trading a boatload of youth to aquire? i dont know. |

I agree with you, I do not want Statsny at all..not for 6.6 ...and Carter would have to be on the cheap to take a 10 year contract
