Definitely. Good young defensemen are hard to come by and as we have seen in the past (Whitney and Goligoski) teams will over pay for them. I will never second guess something that Shero does. . . . . until he screws up just once.

even in his misfires, such as poni an kovy, he hasnt really surrendered much. both low risks that didnt pan out.

Fortunately I have not had time to get into the glitches, I guess. I don't have any HDMI outputs on my receiver--a 6 year old Yamaha. That will be replaced eventually. The Panasonic model I'm looking at has 3 HDMI slots. That will be more than sufficient for now and a non-issue with a new receiver.

Speakers may come before the receiver. Tomorrow's topic? lol

Parts Express, 4 speakers in ceiling, Velodyne subwoofer and a Definative center channel speaker. I juice em' up with a Harmon Kardon 50w per channel that has a remote with auto sound set up. To center the sound with the system simply press sound set up button and it will sound check all the speakers in relation to the position of the sensor in the remote for the stereo.

This will 'center ' the sound to any location in the room. Completely awesome system for not a ton of money. 800. for stereo and about 900. for speakers, aprox.

Tell you what. My brother had Denon and for the amount he paid vs what I paid (5 years ago) I would never go out and spend that much for Denon. Maybe they have really improved but I didn't think it was worth the coin.

On another tech topic, Best Buy has 360 that has a 320gb, MW3, and 2 controllers for $350. That just may sway me towards Microsoft and away from Sony.

Just before boxing day during an online only sale at Future Shop (us canadians equivalent to BB, actually owned by BB) got xbox 360 320g with Halo Wars, Halo 3, Alan Wake, Gears of War 2 & Fable III (free full version downloadable games using codes) for $229.99! I then bought Kinect at BB for $99.99 which came with Kinect Adventures, Fruit Ninja & Gunstringers (free full version downloadable games using codes)! Pretty sweet deals! Haven't started playing any of the xbox games but have been using my Kinect plenty!

Nice set up! When we built, we decided to forgo the prewiring for the speakers in the ceiling, largely because of the room location (right under the master). Looking back, I should have done it, if only to have a convenient location for the surrounds.
