It would be simpler to trade Martin for Gill and a pick. |

i think ruutu would be an awesome addition. Gill could really help clear out the front of the net, but I think it would be tough for him to bring other aspects of martins game, such as skating the puck out of the zone. |

Somebody in the organization sees something in Tangradi. I dont see him getting moved yet. If Jeffrey keeps up his play and the team gets healthy, Vitale might be a piece worth moving. A Jeffrey switch to wing might make TK available. Some combo of Nisk/Vitale/TK wouldnt make a bad package to build a trade or two around. Id be plenty happy with adding Gill to the 5/6 pairing and acquiring a wing--this team could use another Billy G. |

During his short stint with the team, Saad received considerable praise from head coach Joel Quenneville, as well as several Blackhawks' regulars. Ultimately he was sent back to juniors so he could get more quality ice time to assist his development and boost his confidence.
Since returning to Saginaw, Saad has been unstoppable.
In just five games he's recorded eight goals and 13 points. That's an average of 2.6 points per game. So theoretically that means that if Saad had played in all 13 of Saginaw's games thus far, he would already have 21 goals and 34 points, beating out highly ranked 2012 draft prospect Nail Yakupov for the OHL scoring lead.
Considering how well he performed in preseason and how he's now dominating at the junior levels, Saad has to be considered the steal of the 2011 draft at this point in time.

Gary Roberts - nh4442
Exactly. If Sid doesnt come back Id like to see a post deadline lineup of:
Kunitz-Malkin-Neal
Dupuis/Sullivan-Staal-Roberts/Guerin type
Cooke-Jeffrey-Sullivan/Dupuis
Adams-Park-Asham
13th forward is Vitale if you deal TK, or if Vitale is traded put Sulli on line 2, TK line 3, Dupuis on 4--Park becomes 13th and Adams goes to center
On D: Letang-Orpik; Z-Martin; Gill-Engo
Lovejoy 7th |

jesus... as always thanks for the detailed response. morrow seems to be a good pick in his own right, but that kind of offensive ability sure would look good on a line with sid |

yeah i had heard that about him, and saw that many wanted him. i understand shero's strategy of stockpiling quality d men though, and thus far, morrow looks like a winner

ya when he was still avail and we picked morrow i was pissed, im not going to lie... then i was hoping we would trade up for him at 43rd overall...
yes im am happy with morrow now, but still we could have gotten saad and then hoped for morrow bc i still think he was ranked low... i felt we needed more depth at forwards in wb/s.. even though we still had johnson, letestu, jeffrey and tangradi at the time... |
