I don't believe "loaned" is the correct term there. It's probably being done to save some pennies off the cap. The AHL is also on an All Star break so these guys won't be playing up or down.

I know it sounds funny, but I've had people ask to come over and get lessons making meatloaf. So I suspect it is that. My grandmother was a professional cook (women weren't called chefs then) and taught me to make good old-fashioned farm food. Chicken and noodles with noodles from scratch. And my old asst taught me the tricks of good Indian food. There's a really good lamb curry that's mild but complex that gets good reviews.

I don't ccok so much any more. Mostly eat my main meal at lunch so cook dinner only for Sundays.

I'm sure for the ASG. I think Jagr will benefit from the week, but I'm sure they don't know about JVR and Briere. They often send rookies down for the break to keep them rolling.
