Agreed...He's still a decent 2nd line center...I think he's a guy who would stand out in a playoff series..Unfortunately we may never see that happen in a leaf jersey...

I didn't say tunnel vision, I said he doesn't have true vision. He can make plays on the give-and-go better than almost anybody else out there. But he's not the guy who sees through 3 opposing bodies and puts a puck to his guy through that traffic because he sees the hole.

Gardiner played his best game to date. The kid has such great vision, speed and patience with the puck. Now that he has that 1st NHL goal, perhaps he will have more confidence and start shooting the puck a little more. Gardiner and Blacker are going to be an awesome combo in a couple of years!
