I don't mean this sarcastically or anything, I am actually asking. I know this guy gets made fun of all the time on this site but has he ever broken anything? Has he ever proven to be legitimate at all?

The only thing I've ever seen him correctly break in terms of news was when Darrelle Revis ended his lockout before the 2010 season. I'll give him that, he was the first.
He has "broke" many would be trades since, and I'm fairly certain not one of them was true. A month ago, listening to WFAN (NY's all-sports radio station) on my way in to work, he "broke the news" that Dwight Howard got traded to the NJ Nets. In fact, he guaranteed it....He does know hockey alright, but he's 99.9 percent of the time off the mark when it comes to this rumor stuff. Trying to build up the twitter traffic, I suppose.
