BREAKING NHL NEWS**Brian Burke, GM of the Toronto Maple Leafs has officially traded his tuna salad sandwich with Anaheims GM, Murray for his chicken salad sandwich. More details to come...there could also be a milk involved. Stay tuned. - noename09
Elliotte Friedman of CBS : One of the reasons the Maple Leafs could be looking to move an NHL defenseman is to create room for Korbinian Holzer. Friedman has heard the Maple Leafs could consider moving Mikhail Grabovski, they are listening to offers. He’s a pending UFA and the Leafs could see the dollar amount an issue. They are also listening on Nikolai Kulemin.

...after voicing my displeasure with Lombardi buzzing around the perimeter, he went and had 4 solid games in a row
....after stating I have no problem with the Leafs moving MacArthur, he pots the game winner.
.....I'm gonna have to bash Riemer next. - Barx
werent you just saying how you HATED Armstrong the other day!?
Connolly, highly unlikely...and quite frankly, if were moving Grabo we could actually use him for another year while Colborne readys himself...with respect to Lombardi, other teams could start showing interest if he continues to improve, but over the summer if anything. Taking on contracts of his size with his injury history is normally within a salary dump...so... - noename09
Oh don't get me wrong ...they'd all be dumps except for maybe MacArthur. Last summer showed that a few teams (subject to what happens with the new CBA) are willing to spend bad dollars to get to the Cap floor. Not to mention there are teams that have trouble attracting FA's so they may be interested in adding a short term contract like Connolly or Lombardi over the summer.
BB won't let those contracts stop him from getting a big name if one is available. He's got options.

I have the same lament. Please join me in bashing Kulemin.

Some of those are a bit inflated... for example I doubt Aulie is going to get more money than Gunnar did last offseason considering Gunnar had played at least 2x the games in the NHL and was improving whereas Aulie is probably worse than last season. I don't think Kulemin will ask for 3 million either after his worst season ever. Franson will probably get under 2 considering what Gunnar got as well. And I doubt Gustavsson will be worth 2.5 when Elliott just got 1.8 for 2 years and he's a Vezina candidate. - Leafzrulez123
Aulie was playing top line minutes last year, yea he has gone down, but 2.0M is not large at all for a defenceman.
Gunnar wasn't playing 20+mins a night when he signed that contract
Kuli was a 30 goal scorer last season. His bad season this year is why he isn't asking for 4.0+M. 3.0M is comparable to armstrong.
Franson at 2.0 is only off by .5 in either direction imo, he has been very valuable down this stretch, and theres no way he stays at 0.8M when resigning. 1.5-2.5 is realistic.
Elliot had garbage numbers when he signed that contract. Reimer got 1.8 when playing well down the stretch last year, Gus will be around the same. 2.0M isn't unrealistic, maybe 2.5 is a bit too much.
It seems crazy to type lol, but there are times when he gets hold of the puck and starts doing his thing, it seems like guys are watching him?
He did it last night, it's just unreal... - PTVinnyMac
the kid could be unreal in a few years...just like a few other of our youngsters...they have a few things to work on yet, but you can see they have the fundamentals to be great.

Aulie has never played 20+ min a night.
