Jack should quit after tonight because his team quit or did not even show up.
- ses111
This team never seems prepared under this guy. There doesn't seem to be a game plan with him. I think all he tells them every game is go out skate and create chances. And gosh golly win or lose try your hardest no matter if we get our ass' handed to us.

Would be nice. Talk of Frans resigning is close. Nice if he could score a big goal. These two games are critical if the Isles did not know.

Really? Critical? For what?

Follow through to the face, is still a high stick. Players are responsible for their sticks. The leafs won the game fair and square, but the refs missed a few calls. The isles PP has been good this year. They get a call and score on the PP and maybe the outcome is different.

No it isn't a high stick penalty. A follow through is not a penalty

that may of been the worst hockey game i have ever watched in my life. way to be prepared for big game.

Cappy is a moron.

Rolston is the worst hockey player in NHL

Isles dont know what to do when they behind on the score board

Toronto sealed the deal but not given the isles a pp.

The worst part is in the post game Bailey said the biggest problem is they didn't have good dumps. If these guys don't know the importance of a good dump before the game, they don't deserve to win.

Seriously there comes a time when the coach cant always be the scape goat. Blame need to go to the captains for not leading by example. How about guys who need to step up not producing? Coach cannot lace up the skates. Every interview before the game the players knew how important this game was and they played scared. Give credit to toronto, we have one line that scores and they double teamed Tavares and kept them to the outside. JT played against torontos best dmem allowing grabner, nielson pa and others the chance to go against slower d and they couldn't do crap. Our Defense cannot score an even strength goal to save there lives. This was the type of game where someone else needed to step up and be the hero and they didnt. These guys are men and have played this game a thousand times they where out matched by not playing to there strenght of speed. Toronto slowed us down. I blame cappy for playing Rolston on the third, but to say he and his staff dont get the team prepared is far fetched. The team not executing is on the players. I just have a hard time blaming the coach everytime there is a set back.

if Nabby starts tomorrow, CLEARLY this "team" is maiing in the rest of the season. Yeah we have NO idea of Montoya's "status" but that's because the front office refuses to make ANY sort of statement. But honestly, how many times can/will this team con tinue to absolutely sh!t on their remaining fan base?!?!?!? After tomorrow, no hockey for a week, just the NYG PR machine....ugh. But I HATE the Pats so let's go giants!

Agreed 100%. Its becoming unfair to JT to be the only one to carry the team. To Okposos credit he has been very good as well. The rest just dont care. And can Grabner make a pass or accept a pass? the guy has been terrible at setting up plays. He needs to do more with his speed. He can do it, hes done it before.Rolston is what he is. No matter how much we complain he will be there doing nothing and missing the net. I expect him to be assistant coach next year. And no that is not a joke. Montoya needs to start tomorrow before the break and Ullstrom should be playing at least over Wallace since Snow loves these old vets.

Jack is very careful when he gives interviews but he almost slipped when asked if there was going to be a line up change. The coach is smart enough to know we need Ullstrom up but its not his call it's garths. We should be jumping all over Garth. Add Dougie weight the assistant to garth snow he know we need changes.

But it wasnt Nabby that lost this game. Why start the coming off an injury goalie the game before a layoff. I wouldnt be surprised to see Nabby start... he has played well & he can handle the load.

This statement isn't directed at you solely but the team won 3 in a row and are 8-6 in their last 14. Perfectly acceptable in my opinion.

If anyone didn't notice, this game was quite important for the Leafs as well. They executed great tonight. Isles did a decent job in their own zone and the Leafs got a few bounces tonight. Not saying the Isles were good, they weren't but to blast the team after 1 freaking loss after beating the Caps and Flyers is just not fair.

How is Montoya's status an example of the team poopting on the fanbase?
Lets see them redeem themselves tomorrow.

I said before that this team has no secondary scoring. Opponents know if they shut down the tavares line then they can just take it easy and basically do what they want cause the other lines are not a threat. Grabner is showing to be a flash in the pan since he is on pace for 24 goals and 36 points. A 18 point differential from last year. This team really has no scoring depth, and the defense combined has scored I think just 8 goals. I think if they lose the home and home with toronto then they have no chance what so ever of making the playoffs. But hey not like they actually had a shot this year since the 1st line has done the majority of the scoring this year. But also capuano does deserve blame for basically keeping the other lines in tact. I mean at least demote rolston to 4th line and put niederreiter on 2nd or 3rd line so he gets more minutes plays with better players then pandolfo and wallace. He throws the same lines out there and expects different results. If it's not working then you fix it. Fix the other lines and maybe some production might actually be made in the secondary scoring department. And I know the isles didn't have a powerplay tonight, but when the (frank) is hamonic gonna get some powerplay time.

If your stick hits a player in the face on a follow through.........its a high stick. Are you making up rules as you go along?

Nabby not to blame Its was a the teams fault other than Tavares line. Toronto put all their resources to just slow that line down and that should have opened the game big time for rest of the team. Reality is when score was 1-0, and rolston gets fed wide open in front and misses net completely says it all. Rolston is worthless and drags down any line he is on.

Give Toronto credit. They got a 1-0 lead early and did what Florida did to us opening night. Clamp down and play defense and then just wait for next opportunity once isles got frustrated out of their system. No isles pp.

1-7 In games we are scored on first. 8 shutouts. That's telling you we can't adapt to when we behind in score. Our systems only work when we score 1st.

Tavares didn't score on the first awesome chance he credited to start game. This team just waits for him to do it all.

As for pa. Negotiations with him to resign will be easy. When he not with Tavares, he doesn't produce.

Please get rolston out of this lineup and Montoya should get start tonight. Nabby has been great but is not good in back to back nights. He no spring chicken.

Seasons over, you don't lose to the Maple Scrubs 3-0 and play like that.
