the problem is with the NHL and these stupid non stop 3 point games is you can't make up ground. They will have to win 10 friggin games in a row to be relevants. They really need to change the format. The devils last year had an insane winning percentage from january - end of the year and did not get close to a playoff spot. (the real key is to not go friggin 0 for November one year and dig yourself into an impossible hole.)

By the way.. I think I told you guys the story about the really big guy that went down for the count at the Isles game. He had his 8 year old daughter with him crying as they took him out on stretcher..etc. It was one of the worst things I have ever seen at a game (for an Islander fan/season tix holder that says a lot).

Update.. saw him and his daughter at game over weekend. It looks like he is ok.

After what we have all seen in recent years we all deserve hugs. Probably a VIP suite at a strip club for a month is more accurate

It was between the Bar enterance and Zamboni enterance.. He was sitting behind Net. I saw the security guard Tim Holding his arm as he started to go down. Then they had to go get his daughter... was friggin terrible.
