I'm not surprised at Ovechkin getting 3 games....I would have gone 5, myself. But I was surprised Michalek didn't get tagged at all. I'm surprised Sestito didn't get a call, too...his hit on Horton wasn't a head shot, but it did look a little bit late.

Yeah like I said I would have been fine with Z getting a fine or maybe 1 game just to try and deter hits like that. Ovechkin on the other hand has had run ins with the rules before so that is no way a surprise to me.

Yeah, nothing more than a game or so to Michalek. His hit wasn't that bad.

They should definitely be practicing them. A gimmick it is but it is part of the game and has possibly costed them three precious points this season.

I'm glad he's not going to the ASG. I thought it was inappropriate he'd still be welcome when he was mid-suspension.
