Sounds something Clinton would have done but said he didn't enjoy it.
- hockeylover

One guy that didn't go to the White House to meet Clinton because of Clinton's low moral character later was arrested for statutory rape for having an affair with his 17 year old baby sitter, under his wife's nose.

One man's low moral character is another man's hypocritical BS

Possible. I just think if you get invited to meet the President, you go out of respect for the office, and since it was a team function, you go to support your teammates.
- Jsaquella

Agreed. It makes Thomas look like a petulant child. He isn't going there to be asked to partake in a Political Summit, he's there to be honored with his teammates for their accomplishment.

I wouldn't give a damn to get thrown out on my ear. Not a god damned bit. In my opinion that guy set our country back for decades. I am still pissed about him. I'd have told him exactly what I thought.

This is not the first time a guy didnt go to the white house..

See: James Harrison.

"I don't feel the need to go, actually," Harrison told Pittsburgh station WTAE-TV. "I don't feel like it's that big a deal to me."

- jak521

No, it's not. Mark Chmura refused to go, as did Albert Pujols and Tony LaRussa.

Right. Plus if he does have such strong political opinions wouldn't this be a good forum to express them. I'm sure these guys are going to be interviewed during their White House visit. What a great opportunity for Thomas to educate us all about what a great job Santorum would do as preident.
