Do either of those apply to Bryz? Boston fans aren't any more even-tempered or sensible than the Flyers fans. If Thomas was putting in a season like Bryz has so far, they'd be talking about it as well.

Personally, I am not basing any decision off of yesterday but if he doesn't become consistantly better then it is time for Bob to see some time against the top teams to see how he fares.

Meh. I'm all for playing the goalie that gives the Flyers a better chance of winning. Right now, neither of them has convinced me that they're going far this spring. Bob, for all the accolades he's won from the fanbase, came up short against the Rangers and that's troubling.

However, I will root for both of our goalies because of the crest they wear on the front. I can hope they get better and talk rationally about it as opposed to firing off vitriol and boo my own team's goalie (or sarcastically cheer his saves).

I was amazed that Ovechkin did not even get a penalty for leaving his feet and basically forearming that guys head in to the glass.

He shouldn't have to settle for being second banana due to injuries. He deserved to be there on his own merit, not as a replacement for the 10th guy who was injured.
