Beat writer Les Bowen believes the Eagles "might very well" use an early-round draft pick on a quarterback. Michael Vick will turn 32 in June, Vince Young is expected to walk in free agency and Mike Kafka is a third-string kind of talent. The Eagles have two second-round picks this season, courtesy of the Kevin Kolb trade. Bowen mentions Arizona's Nick Foles, Oklahoma State's Brandon Weeden, San Diego State's Ryan Lindley and Michigan State's Kirk Cousins as possibilities.

Lee Evans should of held onto the ball but that was a nice play by the Pats DB. A 32 yrd chipshot has to be made, its embarrassing to miss that FG that wide left.

Its funny the Flyers are well within playoff contention halfway through the season despite their goalie's struggles and paying him a big contract. The eagles's season was basically over at the halfway mark and they paid their quarterback an even bigger contract yet Philly fans rip Bryzgalov constantly and no one says boo about the poopty season vick had.
