So your saying that NY teams are supported totally by fairweather fans? Oh I see. That explains why the Rangers have been near the top of the league in attendance over the rough years. But more to the point, how many years are the Isles planning on rebuilding? Is this the Wang 20 year plan? - dgutzman
Rags play at MSG. You could put a High school team there and it would sell out. |

The Sabres should be interested in a win instead of Ryan Malone! |

It will be interesting to see. But giving up one of the better offensive players in the league PLUS another player and a pick? Homer would have to be...

DO remember it is almost like a 2nd rounder with Philly finishing so high so it isn't out of the realm of realistic possibility! Giroux is AWESOME don't get me wrong but hasn't sustained any sort of AWESOMENESS as of yet!! 1 year wonders this year could be the longest list in HISTORY of the NHL Lupul, Giroux (doubtful but possible), Pommonville, Moulson ect... |

. I would like to note, a bit tongue-in-cheek, that this source has told me his own "speculation" before and it has ended up being pretty darn close to what actually went down...when I told him I would be writing that he laughed.

Nashville has a rabid fanbase.
Canadians have to quit lumping them in with Florida and Columbus. |

1) 4 Cups I will give you
2) Fans base? Really, where are they? Too cheap to pay and watch a game and prefer to watch from home? I mean come on, only 1000 more fans per game then Phoenix this year. Last in attendance last year. 29th in 2009. Last in 2007 and 2008.
3) Really? An owner willing to spend money? When is that going to happen. I mean, you have the lowest payroll in the league.
4) Well, I am glad that they teach geography in NY. And you know which state you live in!
5) Knicks, Nets, and Jets. I would have left those out of your arguement. Giants I would have given you. |

I could see something like this...
To Philly - Weber
To Nashville - Taveres, Matt Carle, and NYI 1st
To NYI - Philly 1st and 2nd, Jonathan Blum, Nashville Goalie Prospect Jeremy Smith, and JVR - dgutzman
Why in (frank)s sake would the isles even think about trading Tavares? This post is moronic |

He may be an Islander forever, but I am guessing at some point, he will wonder how he will explain to his kids that he played 20 years and never went to the playoffs. - dgutzman
You have won 1 playoff series in your history. Win 19 in a row before you make an idiotic comment like that. I'm pretty sure no one realizes how good this kid is yet. |
