No he wouldn't have panicked but you better believe it raises the pressure stakes. Hartnell maybe a more north south guy but he can pick a corner too.
- JoeRussomanno

Hasn't done much when he's had the chance.

But I can understand people wanting to give him a shot as a sorta reward for a great game that included a hatty.

He's supposedly feeling better, but hasn't skated yet, just light workouts.

I haven't heard much on his condition. They seemingly are holding his concussion information pretty close to the vest.

I love goalie talk haha. I know you play or used to, We played roller hockey growing up and I played goal. But as we got oler, less people played and I stopped hanging out with the neighborhood crumbs I grew up playing with. Plus being mostly blind in one eye didnt help much

i still play. i can speak to the narrow butterfly of bryzgalov because i do the same thing. my flexibility is nowhere near what it used to be - could split all the way down in my youth - not stretching except on the ice before the game might have something to do with it.

Agreed. I like how he battled today. Wasn't about the stats today. I'd like for him to have come up with either the Seguin goal that was chipped over his glove or that wraparound goal but he also made his share of difficult saves at key teams as well.
- bmeltzer

I liked him throwing punches but I still am not very confident in his play.

He still looks to be fighting the puck and it looks like he has little to no confidence at times.

He has to be better.

Just talking about Bryz here, not the team defense etc as that can always been improved but Bryz has to be better and I'm positive he agrees.

I'm getting more confident in him by the game. I think he's getting closer and closer. I like the way he played this weekend.

he IS fighting the puck, and he's unsure of himself in a lot of his movement...like he's just not sure where the puck is when attempting to make a save. he makes a handful of excellent stops game in and game out, but he simply hasn't been good enough overall. today was a day i really hoped he built on his performance from yesterday, especially because of the injuries, the opponent, and the way he played against the same opponent the last time. i'm hard pressed to say he stepped up.

I think he has to play the next game. The team defense in the first period was horrendous, they were lucky to be down only by 2. I like that a lot of times during the game he'll give his d-men a pat with his stick. I think ultimately he will be fine. He's shown me nothing so far that suggests he is lazy and doesn't want to work on his game.

I get to pick up a player in a head to head pool I'm in whereby the weekly winner picks up a player from the loser. Long story short Chara or Callahan?

it was an exciting regular season game. great to see their physical play, battle back from an early deficit, and then again in the 3rd after they lost the lead. hartnell was spectacular.

Bryzgalov has allowed goals on all 5 shooters in shootout. Flyers NHL-worst 19-37 all-time in shootout, including 0-3 this year

He made a bunch of key saves in the game and fought to give his team a chance to win. Only one goal was questionable in my opinion, where he didn't get the post sealed off on the Campbell goal.

Lucic goal was dreadful, he even admitted it. Said he just missed it and deflected it into his own net

Today was a big game, it would have been if he played really well, he didn't.
