Told you before today started I need Schenn to step up, the kid is all over the ice and making his presence known.

The NHL really did overlook an All-star in Scott Hartnell.

Two seasons? More like two months. Let's not forget that he should have been traded earlier this season since Simmonds has made him just a spare part on this team.

I'm thinking back to when all the moaning about his $4.2M salary went on. People were creating .gifs and crap. I think it was two seasons ago. He played well for most of last season.

Schenn has been a star today! He us hitting everything that moves and HARD! He blasted Chara earlier. Kid is really impressing today.

It's cause I'm wearing my Schenn jersey today. Who knew that he'd play better when not paired with fourth liners..

I always heard that Schenn was at his best when he plays physical... seeing that tonight. He must have 6-7 hits already in this one.

He hasn't always been a fan favorite around these parts. Lot's of complaining when he was struggling two seasons ago. Way overpaid at $4.2M was the sentiment. He wasn't playing like he is now (or last season) back then though.

On topic, but not directed at you necessarily... Nobody should be immune yo criticism but when the criticism is sophmoric, it might elicit a silly response. Over the years, I've heard over and over that Harnell stinks and is awful. Hey, he has some holes in his game and makes a bonehead play ocassionally, but he's a darn good player overall.

By far, this is the Flyers most physical game of the year.
