Looking at the boxscore of game 7, the Devils had 18 shots on goal. - PLindbergh31
there wouldn't have been a game 7 if there was another .5 second left on the (frank)ing clock, the flyers win the cup over dallas, and lindros probably retires a flyer.
less than .5 second. think about how that incremental unit of time changed the history of the franchise.
i know i'm speaking in what-ifs...no guarantee ANY of that happens if he scores - it's just what i choose to believe.
He looked like LeClair on the tip. I was watching it with #23 and we were dying...We figured that if the Chief was doing that the series was ours. - Jsaquella
Not sure if you have even been to the old Meadowlands, after that game I strutted like Mr. Mcmahon across the footbridge that passed over route 3. I was as confident as can be.
that is stellar. probably have to look for the game itself, rather than berube. - hammarby31
I just remember Berube in the slot with one Devils defender near him and he just clipped the point shot perfectly...and acted like he had 500 career goals.

i managed to find a clip of the only devils goal in that game....off a brutal turnover by primeau.

I hated that damned bridge. - Jsaquella
the cattle run as i called it was awful back then, before they completely redesigned it. it was dark, dank, slick, and smelled like (frank)ing cat piss.
