we would have to bring the 2 little ones to my dad's as well. just not worth the stress. i've seen way too many losses in east rutherford to bother with a weather day like today. - hammarby31
Definitely not worth it dealing with traffic and weather. I have been to at least 40 Flyers/Devils games at the old Meadowlands. I'm guessing maybe I saw 10 wins.
and not breaking up the top line which has been struggling for a few weeks. last year he changed lines constantly. this year, he seems reluctant to do so. - hammarby31
With injuries, there will be more mixing and matching then Uncle Rico.

if nothing else, it gives lava a chance to look at other combos with the regulars who are still healthy, and more minutes for the kids against a top team.
i'm 1-0 in newark. i might never return. - hammarby31
Newark has been a lot better. I think the Flyers might have a winning record in Newark counting playoffs. The Brenden Byrne Arena, AKA Continental Airlines Arena (CAA) AKA Meadowlands was an absolute house of (frank)ing horrors.
If you don't think the Flyers give up a ton of goals a minute or less after taking a 2 goal lead, you are watching different games then I am. - PLindbergh31

True. Read, Couturier have been playing very well.
I wonder how many times the Flyers have played with a healthy lineup. Meaning Pronger, Schenn, Couturier, JVR, Giroux in the lineup at once.
thomas will lose for the first time in philly tomorrow. i think we see some snarl from them. enough being embarrassed by the bruins and rangers. - hammarby31
Yup. Only have two points out of a possible 10 against those teams.

one of the only wins i can think of that i saw at CAA was game 4 of the 95 ecf, and brodeur got chased from the game. tied the series. then of course, i was at game 5 at the spectrum for in the infamous lemieux goal from the blueline. last flyers game i saw at the spectrum.
i recall being at the CAA around 2000-01 when the flyers put the puck in their own net on a delayed penalty. turned out to be the game winning goal.
In a perfect world Bryz starts stealing the Flyers games. - Scottie Upshall
he's played well the last two games, Wild, and Devils aren't great offense teams, in fact the Wild are the worst. Tomorrow will be a big test for Bryzgalov.

24-19 have been dynamite. i love watching those two.
i just saw that, and that briere is now concussed. holmstrom/sestito now. this is just un(frank)ingbelievable.
i swear, sometimes it's hard not think the franchise is cursed.
in any event, i was shocked to see the team actually respond after lava's timeout, but glad that it happened. they played a solid game from there on out and deserved the win. nice to see them bounce back after the poop show on thursday, and bryz played well especially. they should be plenty motivated to beat boston, but the bruins will come in with a chip on their shoulder after losing today with 3 seconds left in OT.
jagr just needs to sit for several weeks. stop this nonsense now.
i hope danny's ok. time for the kids to keep doing their thing.

way too many bad games there. way too many. - hammarby31
Yup I was at that game in 95. Was also at either game 3 or 4 in NJ in the 2000 ECF, a Flyers win. The game they won 3-1, not sure if it was 3, or 4

i'm not sure what's worse, don cherry's outfit tonight, or the cheapshot they just showed briere getting along the wall in today's game. (frank)ing awful. both of them.

i attended game 2 of the 2000 ecf in philly when they came from behind and tied the series at 1, but none in jersey.
