The ever-popular UBI.

It seems Meszy plays a little more of an aggressive play when paired with Gustafsson. Not necessarily a knock on Lilja, Meszy seems to jump into the play more. I think Meszy has more confidence he can cover for him with his speed.

Could be. I'd love for each of them to communicate on the bench beforehand and take turns doing that. it's such a lift to the forwards when the D get active in the offense from time to time.

Briere took a cheap shot from behind, I think in the 2nd period. He was standing to the side of the net and got clobbered.
Play was no where near him, a Devil nailed him and he went down and was on his hands a knees for a minute or so. I was surprised no penalty was called.

I was at the game Marc. I saw Clarkson mash him into the boards, then watched Boulton pick his teeth with him.
