Looking ahead to tomorrow. Man am I hoping Tom Sestito is put in the line up. I know how many feel about Shelley but The Bruins do have a team that needs to be kept in check. Guys like Shelley and Sestito have size and I doubt Shawn Thornton will back down to either guy.

Bryzgalov tells the media to leave him alone and let him play the game. Worry about something else.

Excellent. Now wait for the whining in the papers!

Boo to Clement for giving him a hard time about it too. Come on Bill, you should know better.

If Rinaldo and Jagr can't go, then someone is going to have to come up. And the Flyers will have to make a move to do so.

He makes a valid point. He wasnt saying that it was wrong for Bryz to stop playing with the media and focus on his game but he is right that when you take that sort of approach many media guys will write about him spitefully. Just stirs the pot.

He's got a point though...this is Philly, after all.

Gotta laugh at Boruk, saying that Panotch wasn't at the game to hear Bryzgalov.

If Bryz doesnt care about what is in the papers than that approach is fine. But he seems like a guy that could be effected by what people write.

Absolutely, as long as it's not the centerpiece comment in future post game scrums.

Hopefully Bryz will channel his inner Bob Esche towards the media. Let's face it the beat writers for this team are marginal at best. I wouldn't be thrilled to talk to them also.

They can throw Jagr on IR if need be. I would imagine he's out tomorrow anyway, and they play Florida on Tuesday right before the break.

IR is a minimum 7 days (or is it 10?)...Jagr needs to rest that groin injury, might as well take the time and let him come back after the ASG.

Is Lava showing more confidence in Bourdon? It would be great to have a top 6 defenseman home grown last on the roster for a few years. He seems to play a pretty simple and calm game for the most part. There are growing pains but they are coming less often.

JvR?

Which bring me to my first question, What's JvR's status? I haven't gotten around to reading Homer's comments about the concussions of Pronger and JvR himself. I have no idea how bad JvR's concussion is.

Great all around effort this afternoon.

Breeze #1 star.
Simmonds, Talbert, Timo, Hartnell, Read, #2 stars.
Lava #3 star for getting them into the game during the timeout.
