They better shape up this weekend.

The forwards really need to focus and hustle back.

It's only a matter of time before G and Jags start going again. I think we'll have a good weekend.

They also need to really focus on puck management and making the right decisions with the puck. I think in a some cases the effort is there, but they just don't do anything when they get there. An example is the first Isles goal scored my Moulson. All 3 forwards were back in deep, but none of them did anything there. They didn't check anybody, nor were they aware and picked anyone up late.

Really not a good defensive team overall right now.

All they really have to do is concentrate on the defensive side of the puck.

Agreed.

Cooter has been the teams hottest offensive weapon. We can't expect someone his age to continue this streak much longer.

G and Jagr will hopefully find their groove this weekend. Offensively, yes, I think we will be fine.

Its keeping the puck out of our net I'm worried about. Their needs to be a higher sense of urgency on the defensive side of the puck.

If they do that, the offense will happen all on it's own.

I hope they watched lots of video from the Islanders game yesterday. They could learn a lot from that one goal alone.

Not sure how i'm going to manage.. but the game starts at 1 and our baby shower starts at 2.

I know they have the game where i'm going.. so i may have to go early!

They need to use their smarts too. Make it tougher for the opposition to get in front of the net, keep the Devils to the outside, and let Bryz see the puck.

I one hundred percent agree.

I was referring more to G's line specifically, but again, what you said applies to his line all the same. If they are doing the little things right in their own end, the offense should come.

Did you see Timonens comments regarding some of Girouxs frustrations?

Of course now I can't find it.

He was quoted saying he spoke to Giroux and tried to explain to him "he can't be superman everynight", and that he needs to stop pressing and just play his game.

From the odd category

The Devils actually dress a goon so if Shelley plays he has somebody to pre-arrange fight with.

I'm not sure, but I think Rinaldo is available to play now.

These Saturday matinee games have not been good to the Flyers.

At least they are on the road.

I haven't heard, is Bryz in net today?
Rinaldo is back?

This is the hockey equivalent of dropping your kids off at a party so that someone else has to deal with them.

I believe he is but I never know who Lava will dress.

If Shelley plays he does have a dance partner which is rare
