Yes that is serious. Are you kidding me, You watch gomez handle the puck and tell me he doesn't belong playing with stamkos and st.louis or getzlaf.. Some elite talent around that guy and hed steadily without injury put up 100 points.

He can skate fast, handle the puck and pass. Plus he is a good friendly funny teammate.

His 7 million is over the top. But if he could utilize his skill with elite forwards youd be agreeing on 7 million. Don't forget he plays with a bunch of c+ rookies or b- veterans. Not one player on montreal is on gomez level.

He isn't like cole who rushes in and scores a goal.. No.. But thats okay. Gomez is just misused and mistreated and misplaced.
