I think your post is ridiculous considering the 2 teams are virtually tied in the standings but one of the teams has scored more goals and given up fewer. Most hab fans recognize that their team sucks, but has some good pieces. The fact that you make a ridiculous statement isn't hurtful, it's hilarious.

Just being honest.

Truth does hurt sometimes .

Sabres roster is hurting but the Habs roster is downright pathetic and will be worse if you happen to be dumb enough to trade for Roy .

Sorry dude, but I dont think anyone on that Habs roster is worthy of a Sabres crest , thats why we want some Sabres out as well . They are not worthy , and Roy happens to be one of them.

If your Habs get him , God bless you !

He will post all his wild night party photos for you all to see what he is doing in between games .

I don't think so. Only because we really don't need another small forward.

Btw, anyone Buffalo fan that is ok with Myers being traded isnt really that smart.

while PK subban is skilled. You cant teach Size and Skill. Myers is one of a kind.

I was opposed with Chara being traded by isles by Mad Mike back in the day. And look where that go us. Chara is captain of all star team and a stanley cup champ.

So you're amazed that an athlete who is paid millions of dollars to play a game could be " turned on" by fans. This is professional sports, it's a what have you done for me lately league and as of late Miller has put up numbers that rank him behind most back up goaltenders. Peyton Manning is a god in Indianapolis and will be standing in the unemployment line come March, why because that's the business of pro sports, no matter what you've done in the past, the future is what damns these athletes. And with Millers numbers GAA, save%, win-loss, he doesn't deserve to stand between the pipes. In my opinion he needs to earn every single start by improving each of those stats, most importantly win-loss. Ruff rode Enroth to the playoffs last year andrade a HUGE mistake by starting Miller costing the team a trip to the second round. Ride the hot guy not the head case that can't backstop two consecutive wins in two months.
- Lord_Stanley716

Do you honestly think Ruff made a mistake starting Miller over Enroth in the playoffs last year? Miller is the only reason that we were in that series.

and as far as Enroth carrying the Sabres into the playoffs, Enroth played 7 games in a row when Miller got hurt. Enroth played well but, not any better than Miller was playing

Not exactly. Subban is more physical than Redden was, but it's not far off.
People are going to rip this apart because of where Redden is now, but think about it at the time they let Chara walk.

Hindsight is obviously 20/20, and we'd love to have that one back- but Redden was putting up 50 pt seasons when that decision was made, and was a cornerstone for our defense. Let's not forget that we got to the SCF the next year without Chara.

People paint it like it was a choice between a 7th string D-man and Zdeno Chara. Chara was on the way up, but definitely didn't show what he eventually would.... Redden was at his peak.

Not as easy of a decision at the time.

- Jordo

Chara wasn't even an option for Ottawa. He wanted to be captain and Ottawa wasn't prepared to give it to him.

if Habs are targeting anyone in Buffalo Uniform its Nathan Gerber. He brings the size they need on the wing.

Yeah.

Get rid of a top 5 goalie for a few bad months of play.

Brilliant.

- JDJ

For what I proposed, TO BUILD FORTHE FUTURE it would be brilliant. A LW in Clowe that when healthy is a point machine, a YOUNG center in Desjardins which we need desperately when you look at our UFA list, heading into the off season and a solid backup in Niittymaki for Boyes who has a expiring contract and Miller who said himself "past performance does NOT guarantee future success." Clearly you haven't watched your so called top 5 goalie play as of late, he is ranked 42nd before last nights loss to Winnipeg... How many backups does that put him behind?!?! Simple math, this team is dead in the water and the most dastic change would be cutting ties with the head case known as top 5 Ryan Miller. Pull your head out frI'm between your legs before you write about his reputation from 3 years ago...

What's your point? nobody said Schenn sucked. Are you arguing you would prefer Schenn over Subban?
- Traceur

No it all started with one of your fans overvaluing Subban saying he is better than meyers because he has better stats this season... Meyers has a way bigger ceiling than Subban or Schenn and I was proving stats meant nothing.

If they did it would mean Schenn has a higher value than both of them right now... and he doesn't.

However the rumor of JVR + read for Schenn and a pick/prospect are intriguing..

I would do JVR + read for Schenn + our 1st this year... for the simple fact that JVR/Schenn pretty much both haven't lived up to potential and get paid a bit too much for what they do. (JVR will)

Read however leads all rookies with 14 goals and does have 30pts... and a +12 rating he plays a good two way game.. He could replace Grabovski on the 2nd line as he has played center in his career.) so would be worth a 1st even being a 25yr old rookie.

How is that ?

I said the Sabres roster pretty much blows .

My only untouchables on this team are Gerbe (work ethic) Kaleta (hometown boy punk) and Vanek . Myers is even over rated in my opinion .

The Habs roster ? I dont want any one from it .

Take Roy and give us picks or a pick .

I dont want anyone from your roster .

How is that "over valuing" our roster ?

I just look at Montreals roster and it is very unimpressive . Just the facts maam just the facts .

By inferring that nobody on Montreal's roster is better than a 4th line plug on Buffalo's roster. That's how.

And really, have you seen Buffalo's roster? I wouldn't be throwing around words like "unimpressive" if I were you.
