everything else besides the game makes me insane. EVERYTHING.

exactly. if you want the 'fan experience' go to an arena football game or the circus. shut up and sit down during the play. turn off the stupid music. stop showing the guy dancing who does nothing but bring bad luck. watch the game or leave.

Last night for me it was the people who clearly had heard one hockey-related line in their life and had to pull it out during the game. They have no idea what they are talking about and are not using it at an appropriate point in the game and because the Flyers are just stinking it up last night I want to turn around and knife the stupids who were given tickets because the real fans didn't want to show up for an Isles game. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I hear you. I dislike going to games now because of the circus sideshow it has become.

Dancing guy's record is the team's record. So that bad luck thing is silly.

It's stale. It's tired. And he has a real job now. That's reason enough to stop it.

You don't like it? It's a classic.

I'm not a fan of it. I'm probably in the minority though.

In Montreal, there is not a sideshow. There is minimal chit chat by low key host and hostess, not on every stoppage. There is low-volume on the music, so you can talk to the people around you (if you can understand them--if you can't, smiling and sign language are fine). And they throw away the cold fries--won't sell you bad food. If the organization weren't so screwed up right now, I'd want to move there!

Philly1980, don't break the internets.

Oddly, I edited the post first, then deleted it, and it stayed broken.

Haven't been to a game in Montreal yet, it's on the bucketlist. The games at the Prudential Center are the worst, it's like going to a taping of the Gong Show.

May I also add how very unhappy I was with Mr. Giroux for fighting last night. The last thing I want to see the cornerstone of the franchise who has just come back from a head injury do is fight. I couldn't even watch.

well, i don't get to go to games often. When I do, and I kid you not, every time they show that guy, the Flyers give up a goal on the next shift or shifts. He is bad luck to me. That's reason enough to stop it.

I'm with you Bo. I was at the Phantoms outdoor game and the 2 guys behind me were driving me nuts. At one point the one says to the other, "should we go" meaning move downstairs and I said back to him, "yes, please do". I just lost my head.
