Haven't been to a game in Montreal yet, it's on the bucketlist. The games at the Prudential Center are the worst, it's like going to a taping of the Gong Show. - PLindbergh31

May I also add how very unhappy I was with Mr. Giroux for fighting last night. The last thing I want to see the cornerstone of the franchise who has just come back from a head injury do is fight. I couldn't even watch. - bodiva88
It looked like at the end of the fight when both players went down Giroux's head may have hit the ice. I understand it was out of frustration, and was spontaneous. I admire Giroux for trying to light a spark, but it's not the smartest thing to do. |

Dancing guy's record is the team's record. So that bad luck thing is silly.
It's stale. It's tired. And he has a real job now. That's reason enough to stop it. - bodiva88
funny enough, he didn't dance last night |

I have been there plenty. That building is just plain depressing. It's not called the Nassau Mausoleum for nothing. Worst venue in North America. |

You dont like your leading score (next superstar) fighting? This Flyers team needs to get it together and start playing better hockey. Stop being lazy and start playing with some hockey sense out on the ice. That game last night was terrible and embarrassing. I still think the Flyers are a good team but there is no way they can compete (legit) for a stanley cup bc they are too inconsistant. |

RE: TSN
Nashville Predators defenceman Ryan Suter continues to be one of the hotter names in the rumour mill, but there are no guarantees that he's leaving the Music City.
"If you're asking what I'm going to do, my gut is that we're going to be trying to add to our team and if we're adding to our team, we certainly don't want to be taking away from it by making a deal like that," Predators GM David Poile said of trading Suter. |

exactly. if you want the 'fan experience' go to an arena football game or the circus. shut up and sit down during the play. turn off the stupid music. stop showing the guy dancing who does nothing but bring bad luck. watch the game or leave. - wilsonecho91
That's all well and good, and I mostly agree (I don't share the outrage against the dancing guy at all, though honestly I wouldn't be heartbroken if he were cancelled), but don't hold your breath waiting for this to happen. They're doing what they feel they have to to attract as many people as possible, from the hardcore hockey fan (who'll come for the hockey regardless) down to the guy who's a fan of Philadelphia teams because all his friends are. I don't think it's the proper way to cater to the non-dedicated fan, but I sincerely doubt it's going to change anytime soon.
poop, I'd settle for just turning down the music a bit. |

No question. The record is there, but the play has been inconsistent. Not to be unexpected when having so many rookies in the lineup. |

Ferraro said the same thing this morning. They're 8-2 in their last 10 games and now sit 6th in the West. It would take a collapse to turn them from buyers to sellers. |

Like another poster said last night, the rookies are playing well, the veterans are making many mistakes out there and thats unacceptable. I think Lavy is a good coach but putting a forward at the point on the PP has been a disaster this year and needs to be scratched as an idea. |

You got it. They have the hardcore fan hooked, it's all about trying to attract the casual fan, those folks view tickets as an "entertainment expense" they want to be entertained for 2.5 hours, and a hockey game only doesn't do it for them. |

Yep. I think if this weekend doesn't go according to plan there will be some changes. Whether that's a trade to shake things up, or lines being changed. |
