I think he needs to average 20 to really get into a groove to be honest

I give this team a pass for tonight.

Whatever they were thinking/doing/dreaming tonight needs to stop before Sunday.

I'm with you. Teams in every sport look ahead on the schedule. Human nature. They had beaten the Islanders 25 of 26 games? They figured just showing up to the rink would be enough, didn't work out tonight.

He just updated saying nothing new. If Schenn falls through, which it will if they ask for Reader, says Flyers back up plans are Gleason and Ruutu or Hal Gill. Shocking I know!
- Flyers1218

I saw that as well...... LOL funny stuff. It would be funy it was true and happened and then Incarc Bob would be a smug (frank)er

I heard Incarcerated Bob is going to be on the TSN trade deadline show. Sitting in between Dreger and Bob Mac.

This is where the Flyers need to be more than human and become a machine , But hopefully the next two games are better after the trade for Schenn or Gleason

Will Drger and Mac have cattle prods as well, would make for a good show

And you're obviously not going to win 82 games a year. This team isn't like last year's or the 2010 team. They a hard-working team, that's for sure--unfortunately, for whatever reason, it just didn't happen tonight. If anything, we should all be looking at Bob and being impressed. Definitely kept this team in the game the first period.

I don't want Schenn. And if the prices on Gleason are accurate I don't want him either, he's an impending UFA. I'm tired of the Flyers giving up assets trying to plug gaping holes with a band-aid. Stay the course with the kids and draft picks.

Bad effort tonight no question. Lets see how they respond this weekend. What more can people expect? 106 point pace with a ton of rookies, no Pronger, and Bryz performing far below expectations.

Beauchemin's price just went up big time. He scored two goals last night.

Agreed. Hold Gusty and MAB to the flame. See what we got...this was never their year anyway

Not for nothing he nailed some huge stories before major media... sometimes weeks before. Had Peyton Manning done for the year. Had Carter to Columbus deal first before Dreger and McKenzie. Had Pujols first. Had Asomugha agreeing in principle with Jets (which he admitted) and then said eagles jumped in. I do believe he gets way more than Ek right and if that's what he's hearing it's prob been discussed. How seriously? Who Knows?

Jagr's play since the WC has fell off a cliff. Most likely due to injury.

When someone throws as many darts at the board as he does, there is bound to be a bullseye every once in a while. His name alone, lends me to not take him seriously.

At this point I'm looking to stock this team with young talent. If Danny Briere can fetch a mid 1st round pick or a decent prospect over the summer, i hope the flyers would move him, if he would agree to it

I doubt he would. Unless the destination was one that afforded Briere a legit chance to win.
