I think over the course of this season Carle and Coburn have proven to be a rung higher than Mez. If we can lock up Carle and find a dance partner for Mez I would be good with that. He does have a shot and some offensive flair but I'm taking Carle over him.

Mez hasn't been as good as last year, but overall, I think he's been decent after a slow start.

Mez brings more of a physical game but nothing wrong with keeping Carle over him.

Only problem is Mez will have the friendlier contract. Not sure if I'm prepared to pay 500k-1 mil more for Carles services

That's twice in one week where a player has looked out of it for the Flyers after a head shot and not gone to the quiet room. Both players seem to be ok but I'd prefer they were more cautious.

Carle will get $5M in the open market but I dont think he is worth that kind of money, thats just me though.

The Isle are all over the Flyers. Bobo has kept them in the game so far.

Nabokov has played well, too. Isles have had more opportunities, though

Bob looks great. I love the way he is calmly absorbing shots with no rebound. YOU WATCHING THIS BRYZ? Compact butterfly with fivehole covered...

Coots get hurt that period? And another game where the Flyers expect the Islanders to lay down and give up two points. Unacceptable period at home.

Talbot was one of the only Flyers who looked interested that period

Didn't look like a head shot to me.

Only thing to like about that period was Bob, and the PK. Looks like a team looking ahead to the weekend.

I'm sure Laviolette is tearing them a new one right about now.

Piss poor first period. Awful defensively, and careless with the puck. What else is new.

Off topic, but I thought Jagr and Voracek's agent was NOT former Flyers defenseman Petr Sobovda?
