Yes they would be stonger up the middle, but weaker at wings. I would rather give Giroux someone like Schenn to pass to in a few years, then have Schenn on the 3rd line passing to guys like Talbot and Zulnerczyk.
- RooNosHockey

Who says those players would be on his line. Zolnerczyck is a 4th liner in this League. Talbot is a very good all around player and can score goals, as he is showing this year.

What a phenomenal trade the Kessel deal was for Boston.
- MJL

My Lord.

Burke says he's still thrilled with Kessel and he should be he's been fantastic this season but wow the Bruins have made out like bandits.

How can Schenn be a career anything? He's played 25 NHL games. JVR has already shown he can be more then a 3rd line player.

Strong in this one, the anger is.

If Cooter didn't fall that far they may have take Dougie Hamilton who the Bruins picked after Cooter, that would have been fantastic as well IMO
- Buts16

they had a couple of good choices at #8, who knew it was going to be Couts, and how he has worked out so far.

Well the Flyers First round picks aren't going to be that high. But that's what they can do for a team. It's why I'm hesitant to trade those picks.

Figuratively or Literally, or in any sense. I don't agree with you.

The Flyers draft well IMO, the Gagne, Williams, Downie and Giroux picks all the 20s show you how valuable any 1st round pick can be if used wisely.

The Flyers have a 1st and two 2nds I believe. I'm OK moving a 2nd but I think they should keep the picks for the most part.

He's definitely Lappy like. Although he's a better overall player then Lappy was here.

I love Cooter, love the bastard.

He's already a favourite, in 2-3 years he's going to be a total beauty

Has anyone seen the Griffin Reinhardt in the whl play? would prefer the flyers move up in the draft and get a guy like this.

Huge player with huge upside. A big man who skates exceptionally well and has turns. Moves laterally with the fluidity of an average size player. Very cool under pressure and a very good ice general whose vision allows him to make the right play. Rarely beaten one on one due to his size. He has a strong shot from the point and is excellent at reading where to go with the puck. Can pass the puck on offense better than most. His bread and butter is his ability to move the puck up ice using his speed and accurate passing. He uses his size to be an aggressive physical force in his defensive zone, making him a more attractive prospect, filled with upside. The fact that his father, Paul, was an NHLer doesn't hurt either.

I got to see J Will and Richards score shoot out goals against Loungo Tuesday.

Man it was weird watching Richie in a Kings uniform.

I bet.

I don't sleep well so I end up watching many West Coast games and The Richie thing still doesn't compute for me, so odd.

Even Dustin Penner was busting his ass that game, it was a very weird night.

The Canucks lolled the fans to sleep in the first period, I've never seen a building so quiet. Maybe it was the weed they smoked before the game, though.

I will trade you a Giroux Captain home jersey and a Couts winter classic Assistant captains jersey for a signed Foppa jersey
