Yeah... i want to get one with my name on it.. but i'm not ready for people to ask me every 2 seconds who that person is...

I did play for the little Flyers once upon a time

This is what I've learned today.

Rewind back to a year ago. The complaints were that Homer keeps trading away draft picks and prospects to bring in big names, leaving the cabinets empty. Homer's attitude was to "Win Now" and he almost succeed with this attitude but we didn't. So Homer tries a different approach. He trades away our biggest stars and talk piles draft picks and prospects but not just prospects but high touted prospects. Now fans want to trade away the prospects again to bring in Stars again.

He has 1 fight in 15 games.

Actually... If you include this year and last year... Carcillo has fought the same amount of times in a Flyers uniform.

Maybe no one has wanted to fight him? Not many enforcers left in the league.

No, they can still trade his rights before FA. Just like with Timonen and Hartsy.
- funmaster18

won't get nearly as much return for negotiating rights.

I dont want any GM for the Flyers that is going to say... We are going to sacrific this season and possible the next so we might win in a few years...

And I'm sorry if I feel we have 3 centers under 25 with All-star potential and I feel we could move 1 of them because we have 0 defensemen under 36 with All-Star potential...

That's why it's up to them if they'd rather hang on to him and make a run at the cup or trade him after for less. That's why I don't think he will move before the season is out because the asking price will be pretty high in season. It's just what I think, I have no idea what will happen.

I'm not sure JVR has the "guts" to reach his true potential. But even if he doesn't he should be a good player, 30-40 goals a year.

But I would still trade it for a Young, good, defenseman... cause we need that more.

I don't think he does, but he's still a damned good player with a ton of potential.

He's also just 22. I'd hate to trade him and have him turn into John LeClair elsewhere.

See I think Schenn is better at F/O and play making, and Cooter will be better at hitting the corners on the wing, and using his body on the forecheck.

I don't mind trading him if it betters the team, but not if it's along with another top prospect like Schenn +. That's too much to throw away on 1 player, IMO.

so what's his "true potential"?

50-60 goals a year?
