They'll keep both.

it's working well anyway.

Yup 50-55 games for Halak and the rest for Elliot who is playing his best hockey.

While I agree about most of what you say on this, I must say I really didn't like the fact they traded Desjardins at the time.

They thought Brisebois would turn out to be better than him.... And we all know how that went.

As for the Roy trade, you can blame it all on Réjean Houle.... Savard had a deal in place for Owen Noal.

- Scabeh

And yet everyone freaks when someone suggest trading PK might be a bad idea.

I know that Grant Fuhr was helping out last year also. Not sure if he is this year.

Deadmarsh? Ricci? They couldn't have (frank)ed up that trade much worse, not even a pick plus they sent them the captain of the team.
- habby

Until he was struck by concussions, Deadmarsh was a pretty good 2-way forward. Kovalenko, Rucinsky...tabarnak!

Never thought he was more than he was, except for being the most exciting player to play here since the cup. That's all my name is about..
- God_then_kovy

Exciting in the way that you never knew if he was gonna show up or... ?

Don't wanna start it again, but while Desjardins didn't have the same skills set as PK, he actually knew how to play in his end. Did you see PK play on the PP last night? He definetly has no clue what is team play, only indivual effort ending with nothing. Not to mention he missed the net about 10 times.

There was a certain context to Bryzgalov's waiver situation but yes, part of it is the system. Smith has been making circus saves too. Everyday on Sports Centre he is doing something crazy.
- Cape Breton Bruins

Over half the shots are from the outside, but yes he has been spectacular, as was Bryz. Now not so much, before...not so much.

Oh...hmmm...yeah, let me fix it, before Deadmarsh starts lacking heart, he was a pretty good 2-way forward

I liked that he'd let 6 goals a game in and still go to the HOF.

Bryz had great stints in Anaheim. And he's had some great performances in Philly. I believe that perhaps he is overrated but he's still a very good goalie.

First year of a big contract, he should be fine next year, he is too good technically to consistantly suck. He should leave philosophy though...

I was watching the Panther game the other night, Jovo got into a fight. After the fight, the annoucers said that Jovo had ended Deadmarsh's career.

Now understand why Wild are struggling. Taylor Swift is playing in team's dressing room. Can't imagine that fires up a group.

Wayne Gretzky has said on many occasions that he believes Fuhr is the greatest goaltender in NHL history. This is mentioned in an interview with Wayne Gretzky conducted by John Davidson as part of the 2003 DVD "Ultimate Gretzky".[10]
