I think he just needs to be there helping guys out, not creating problems for them to battle for him, and for him to go out of his way to step up for a teammate.
He needs to do more of that, and continue to stay true to his game and his persona.
He will do that, and he will gain more respect from his teammates.
And he was also always have some that don't like him.
there's no in between. They either love him or hate him. that's what you get with a character and flamboyant playing style like Pk has - EricEngels
So we agrEE he needs to lay low for a few games. But if he is a cancer, he needs to be shipped out for a upgrade, and only a upgrade, IMO. |

Funny how the road from white to black is so large yet we've parked ourselves between dark and light brown and made them poles. |

I would trade Subban for Getzlaf in a heartbeat, but the Ducks would be asking for more... - HABSFAN78
no they wouldn't, they'd take that deal and get off the phone laughing.

Respect, no. Admiration, probably, because he has the biggest richard in the team. |

I agree, it's not that PK is better than any of those guys, but the guy has so much upside it's incredible. He skates, he handles the puck, he has great vision and first pass, he's physical, he can handle big minutes and can be given the hard defensive missions. He just need to figure out how to make his tools complementary of one another game in and game out. - Traceur
forgot a couple of things:
he's younger, has a higher ceiling, and his struggles will have him stay at a reasonable cap hit for a couple seasons, or one at least, before he blows up.
younger, cheaper, and he's a 28-minute/night dman.
he'll be among best in the game when he hits 25 |

boo hoo Mr. Red |

sometimes people don't quite understand how or why things like that happen.
1) We know the dynamics at play here between Subban, his teammates and the coaching staff and management.
2) Sometimes, discussions are had to stimulate interest and stimulate discussion about other players.
3) Sometimes, GMs have to dangle pieces to find out if they can get the piece that truly makes their team elite or closer to being so.
4) I love Ryan Getzlaf and Zach Parise, and there's no denying Kovalchuk is a premiere talent.
But if you trade Subban for any one of them straight up, you lose that deal. That may sound crazy to some of you, but it's true.
Kick the tires and see what you can do, but beyond that, there's more bodies moving out of Montreal this season and he's a conversation-starter. - EricEngels

There's really no reason for Campoli to ever be in the lineup. |
