Meh. the captain leaving that ship had no bearing on who lived or who died or how many. If the crew was trained properly, they should have been able to handle the situation. That is what drilling is for, it turns events into muscle memory. You react whether someone is telling you to or not.

Yes, cruise liners do not train their crews on how to handle the situations that may arise.

Matter of fact, most of the crew members are illegals that pick up at Home Depot 10 minutes before setting sail.

Sad but true. The people you are counting on to make the decisions to get you off safely (90% of whom don't speak english) Were 5mins earlier cleaning your sh*tter or cooking your meal.

I'm not (frank)ing kidding. We went to Milton to avoid the 12 hour triage wait in Browntown, which paid off because we were out of there in under 6 hours, but then we had to go BACK 6 hours later because they don't do overnight ultrasounds.
