That's why I wrote 'package' AK, Sherlock...

Something like AK, Weber and Gallagher for Sutter could be a good starting point. Or AK and Plek?

- fidopro

You would have to give one of Tinordi and Beaulieu.

But a 1st would be pretty much mandatory. A team like the Flyers have more expendable assets to give for a player like Suter.

A lot of teams have more expendable assets!

My point is, maybe, just maybe, AK would worth more to them than to other teams.

a UFA, a dwarf, and a dwarf who is still in junior. That's a starting point on June 30th.

And if you're goign to talk about a package, you should go with the strongest part. "A package including a 7th rounder should do the trick" just sounds dumb.

If they can have a good return for him via a trade at the deadline, I'd trade him. If not, resign him. Under 4M. Still a lot for a 3rd liner...

When I hear "less money to stay here" It would be at around the same price he's making right now.

And it would be more than fair for a 6"2 200+lbs "3rd liner" who scores 20+ goals every single season.

What does less money mean? $4.25M rather than $4.5M, and does that come with a5+ year deal?

Nice to see a guy want to stay, but it would be interesting to see what that all means.

His agent is uber-Richard Alan Walsh, I believe.

Not gonna be much of a discount, if any at all.

Exactly, but let's leave it there for now we will be taken for PK haters
- Habsody

I don't hate him at all, he's gonna be a great player, but he is a head case. If you could get something great in return, I would do it, that's all, sorry.

He doesn't do discounts and most people are with him for that reason. But if you want something, you tell your agent to get it done.
