Worked for Price. They just don't have a Halak to take Subban's place.

It doesn't matter really, their season is already over.

Hearing there will be no suspension for PK Subban. But sounds like he's going to get a fine and/or warning.

That's too bad really.

Trading Subban??????

Really???????

Starting to get pretty comical.

People wanting them to tank and play the young guys more, saying "We will live with their mistakes blah, blah, blah.........

Bullpoop.

The guy is in his second year and already, there are people who would run him out of town. Just think for a minute. It doesn't look like Marky Markov is coming back, which leaves who as our offensive D? Kaberlol???? Please. Maybe a few years ago but right now, he's Breezer 2.0.

Give Subban a break and show some patience already. He was thrown into a top 2 situation in his second (frank)ing year. No one expected him to be this bad but his upside, which he has shown, is the best this team has seen in years. The kid needs to mature and drop the bullpoop, I agree. Giving up on him after one bad season? Complete nonesense.

He's got to go, he is not learning from his mistakes at all.

He gives up the puck for the shorty, next shift goes for the big hit to give up a 2 on 1. That was just a couple from last night.

He's gotta be a joke in the room also, fighting with teammates, ex-coach says he needs to grow up, EE blogging he needs to earn respect from his teammates. Was he actually argueing with that coach last night? This fella has his own agenda for some reason, not humble at all.

Cunny is dressing 7 d and easing off his minutes and he is looking worse.

If he is the second coming of Larry Chelios, he should be worth something elite on the d.

Can we at least wait until he gets through puberty before we give up on him?

I'm exagerrating, but there aren't many kids who can jump in and play a HUGE role and NOT make mistakes, they're called growing pains.

This team will have to get better through the draft which means mistakes will be made by KIDS.

Thanks buddy.

PK will be fine.

He's frustrated and probably should be benched or at the very least, his ice time reduced for a bit.

I believe the issue isn't his mistakes. They were expectable but his attitude is clearly a concern. Not only didn't he learn anything but he is even arguing with the coaches and last night we clearly saw that he didn't have much from in the locker room. Would he be humble and be man, i wouldn't even have one thing to say about his mistakes on the ice...last night he really pissed me off

Thanks Pete.

He needs to mature and make better decisions.

The guy is 22 and playing under a microscope.

I don't think he was drafted to be humble. He is a high risk high reward player who's season can only be described as the worse case scenario for him.

We complain about the Habs prospects, team can't draft etc......... Name me one prospect that the Habs have drafted in the last 15 years that has this much potential. Dumping him now (and yes, it would be a dump), would be a huge step back.

Not sure why anybody would want to see Subban traded. He is young and talented. One of the most promising prospects the habs have had in a long time (and Price). Why would /should the habs give up on him?

edit: remember when Price was having trouble, where are all the assholes who wanted him traded? pretty quiet now.

Even Ek puts it E3, even if we can expect the worse of PG, he said one week ago that this team needs to get bigger, targeting a 5'9 forward isn't quite that...

Due to mismanagement of the D-corps, PK needed to play 25+ minutes every night, which he clearly was not ready for over the long haul.

Does he have an attitude that needs adjusting? Abso(frank)inglutely. Whatever happened to Gill mentoring him along? That seemed effective for bit.

Not absolving PK for his antics. Part of what he needs to learn is to man up and take responsibility. I would rather see him do it with the Habs than with another team.

Christ, in his 2nd and 3rd seasons, Lafleur put up 56 and 55 pts before he broke out. I am sure with at the time that a lot of fans were saying that he was a bust etc..... I would think that patience paid off big time. Not saying that PK will have a Hall of Fame career but ffs, let's have a bit of patience in his case.

I always was behind Carey, but during tough times he shut his mouth and was unhappy the way he was playing, he wasn' arguing with the coach that it wasn't his fault. I just don't understand why we are comparing apples and oranges here

what are the habs supposed to do? Play campoli, diaz, weber, kaberle for 20-25+ mins a game? or maybe Gill?

Subban is playing bad but i feel more comfortable with him on the ice over the above. He and Gorges are the only two guys that are top 4 d-men on the habs roster. Maybe Kaberle if he is insulated with another solid top 4 guy.

All i say is that the bigger work with PK has to be done off-ice . Errors is part of the learning process, but not being aware of your own mistakes and puting the blame on someone else won't help him in any god damn way.
