For me, quite frankly, I do not care who is #1..2...3...etc... 7.
I think there comes a point where the Habs need to trade off the players on the roster they want to get rid of ASAP and look to giving more playing time to the youth, regardless of how much it hurts / how many errors they make to give them NHL experience.
That includes guys on the roster (Weber, Diaz, Emelin) and guys in Hamilton (Le Bust, Palushaj, etc).
Use the time wisely, don't just throw guys out there because they are vets.
Give the kids meaningful minutes and see where they are in their development.

I agree. Keep them in and lets see what we really have. Your point about reacting to (frank)ing up is a good one. Do they work harder knowing they're out or do they throw in the towel. Now is a good time to judge. |

Yes, Cooke is on the roster...it doesn't change what Subban did, and consitently does. He slew footed Neal earlier in the season and did the same against Kunitz. He's at least as dirty as Cooke, and the shame of it is he's a talented player who can be great at times....he doesn't need to do what he does. |
