I've been pretty clear that I always liked him, but i thinks it's fair to say that trade is still open to debate until we see what happens with Bournival.

Without Gomez you dont get Cammy or Gionta or the 2010 playoff run - lets move on - it was a bad trade - lets just hope we dont do another trade like that
- MTL1

Don't be silly, they signed because the Habs offered the most money...

Why are fans still talking about McDonut ? He would've never ever become the player he is right now with the Habs.

Nothing to do with being offered a lot more than any other team? Gionta even said in his first interview that he thought he was going back to NJ until the habs made the offer, when he went back to Lou he was told he'd be crazy not to sign in Mtl.

The captain of the Italian cruise ship gave a slapstick explanation of how he ended up safely in a lifeboat instead of going down with his ship, saying he tripped and fell into the boat as it was being lowered into the sea, Italian media reported today.

"I had no intention of escaping," Francesco Schettino, 52, said during his first court hearing Tuesday, according to Italy's Corriere della Sera newspaper.

"I was helping some passengers put the life boat to sea. At a certain point the mechanism for lowering it, blocked. We had to force it. Suddenly the system unblocked itself and I tripped and I found myself inside the life boat with a number of passengers."

Once in the lifeboat that was lowered into the sea, Schettino insisted to the court that it was "impossible to go back onboard."

I only said move him if there is a problem. I'm not stupid, if EE has to blog about him needing to earn the respect of his teammates, clearly they do not respect him, so something is wrong in there.

i didn't mean that he's on his way to that, but after the next three seasons, he's declining, Subban has at least six before making the same descent.

at the same time, Getzlaf hasn't been himself this year, and struggled with bad injuries last season
