My wife has a doctor, but he's not taking new patients, and she has to go to appletree as well. i was really surprised when I first moved to the NCR, i thought interprovincil stuff would have been much easier.

Side note...

I have a family physician, my kid has a pediatrician (and the same family physician as me and my wife)...yet whenever we need to see them, we can't. We end up going to CHEO for the kid or Appletree for either of us adults...of course both of those places are in Ontario.

In ontario, you go to them with a small problem and they give you a solution to eliminate it...in Quebec, they tell you to come back when it's a BIG problem...In ontario they propose treatment, in Quebec you have to ask for them and insist...

This might be true, if the experience involved my own health, and my own Doctor. But my wife's doctor is in Milton (one of the last bastions of white suburbia in the GTA), and she suffers the same stuff.

Couple weeks max is usually the norm for us unless it's more urgent. The doc is a friend of my wife, I guess it helps.
