Do you really want to compare the track record of the 2 cities for the past 5 years?
Sad to say, but Labeaume is exactly what Mtl needs...

- fidopro

Thing is, you can't compare both cities, since, well, one is about 8 times more populated than the other.

Politics has no business in that stuff. IMO Look how Glendale got into that mess, probably gonna have an empty arena soon.

It depends on what is built into the deal to recoup the money for the gov't. In this instance Quebec is going to get (frank)ed, it's almost a certainty.

You have to see further than the hockey team. They really needed a new sport/entertainment complex, with or without the return of the Nordiques.

You nailed it habby, I was talking to a doctor in the US last year he said by the time he finishes with write-offs, he pays about 15% income tax personally, and about 7-10% through his LLC. (frank) me, most Canadians could afford $1000.00 per month for healthcare if that was the case.

Side note...

I have a family physician, my kid has a pediatrician (and the same family physician as me and my wife)...yet whenever we need to see them, we can't. We end up going to CHEO for the kid or Appletree for either of us adults...of course both of those places are in Ontario.

In ontario, you go to them with a small problem and they give you a solution to eliminate it...in Quebec, they tell you to come back when it's a BIG problem...In ontario they propose treatment, in Quebec you have to ask for them and insist...

My wife has a doctor, but he's not taking new patients, and she has to go to appletree as well. i was really surprised when I first moved to the NCR, i thought interprovincil stuff would have been much easier.
