Honestly, it is because he always looks like the most dangerous Hab when I watch Habs Leafs games.

I think he is a pretty damn good player when properly motivated. I think motivation must be difficult for the Habs players right now.

I think motivations is an issue with this organization. They are the Yankees of the hockey, and every single time i hear a Yankees player in an interview they say about how important the jersey is, and what it means to them to play for such a great dynasty. When i hear a Habs player in an interview i hear, i know how the fans care about the game and blablabla.

I like Plekanec and i believe he can be a pretty good #2 center in this league, but with Desharnais emerging, i don't see where he will fit next year. And he never shows up in the playoffs which is a non-factor this year eh

You're probably asking the wrong guy because I think Plek is a great player and I think Schenn is the Leafs worst defenseman by a country freaking mile.

Common sense would get the better of me though... as much as I want Plekanec, he doesn't make the Leafs a contender and D-men like Schenn need the benefit of the doubt for a couple more years before giving up on them. Historically the Leafs have given up on Dmen too soon.

If Plekanec was say, 26, I would probably do it.
