Southeast division is the albatross of the east. Look at that crap division. Wash and Florida fighting for the top spot. As soon as Florida finishes their game tonight each will have played 45 games. That is at least one more than NYR, Boston, or Philly, yet if FLorida wins they'll only have 53 points. Yet one of these teams is likely to be the 3rd seed in the east. How the hell can they have such lousy point totals playing in that crap division? I have always thought the current playoff seeding scheme is stupid. If the NHL wants to mandate that a division winner automatically gets a playoff bid, fine, but seed them based on their point totals. I know it will probably all be moot if/when realignment goes down, but rewarding a crap team with a 3rd seed just because they were able to claw above the other 4 crap teams in their division is just plain dumb.

flyers wives apparently had a fashion show tonight.

where are our crack beat reporters with a review and photos?

Seriously, they interviewed Mrs. Pronger, who was the chair of the event. She was talking about how Chris has bad days and so-called good days. Today was a bad day, so he wasn't at the event. They're hoping for a good day, or even better a couple of good days in a row. It just sounded really grim.

Ha HA (frank)ING HA HA HA!!!.....my point exactly....yet if the Caps can't get their act together (and they have the best shot to do so in that craptacular division) Florida may end up as a 3 seed in April. Assuming PHI, NYR, and BOS don't go in the tank, that seeding will be quite stupid looking. Congrats Bettman!!!

All this talk about no one going after Clutterbuck.
I just finished watching the game and Mezsy nailed him a few times pretty good.
Besides, the Flyers won 5-1

And Kung Powe with the only goal for Minny, that was so predictable.

Giroux looks frustrated, he seems to be banging his stick on the ice every shift.

no disappointment here...it just seems like a 2 or 3 sentence conversation....

"hey, think Shelley could have done anything about clusterfu..I mean clutterbuck running around last nite?"

'nah, he can't control when he's on the ice'

" yeah, you're right, but who cares anyway, flyers killed'em"

He was steaming on the faceoffs in the third period. He has blood in his eyes. I expect a breakout any time now. He hasn't been scoring. But he's been fierce on the PK. Love to watch him play.
